A pretty funny thing happened to me at work today. See, I work for a local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer in town and every one of us handle commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C systems most days, however all of us have a few residential customers also. It’s actually been slow recently, because it’s the middle of our lovely Spring. Every one of us have been working on rather easy Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tune-ups for most of the week as everyone gets their cooling system prepped for summer. Two of the jobs were inside of industrial buildings downtown, and the other appointments were residential houses. My partner and I managed to complete both of the large commercial jobs by lunchtime. Every one of us stopped by a nice local cafe for root beer and a sandwich on lunch. There were numerous hours before our next appointment, so all of us then decided to sit down and eat in the diner for a while. We were resting in the eating establishment and relaxing, when all of us heard a loud crashing sound in the kitchen and jumped up with a start. A few moments later, the manager came out to alert the customers that a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C duct had simply collapsed in the kitchen. Well, I offered to help them out, since all of us had some extra time to spare. They hesitated at first, until all of us quickly showed them our dealers license. I cleared up the mess, and reassembled the old air duct. The manager of the store was so cheerful for our quick help.. These days I still go to the eating establishment, however nowadays all of us get free root beer and pie.
