I’m moving out of my parents house next week. I’m incredibly excited and the day can’t come soon. My parents have given me a lot of advice for how to comfortably live on my own. My mother has made sure to remind me plenty of times about making sure that I clean up after myself too keep the house clean and free from pests and germs. My father, on the other hand, has given me a lot of practical advice. He has given me a lot of Energy saving tips to make sure that I can keep my energy bills at Bay. I never really considered a lot of them but I’ve taken a lot of them at heart because he’s really only trying to look out for me and making sure I save as much money as I can. He has also reminded me plenty of times to make sure that I change my heating and air conditioning filter regularly to make sure that my AC and Heating units operate at peak functionality. I never really considered that I even needed to change the heating and air conditioning air filters, so I’m incredibly glad that he’s mentioned all of this to me. There are also a few minor energy saving tips that he’s told me that I considered common sense but having been told them I can at least understand the importance of them. I’m definitely going to take all of their advice with me and perhaps pass them on to any future friends or family that are curious about the important parts of living on your own.
