I have been trying to make a successful podcast by myself for over a year now, but nothing I do seems to work. I have gone and tried a few different topics and formats, even though I can’t ever seem to attract any proper listeners. It is undoubtedly annoying for me and my self esteem, to think what you want to do but keep failing at it! I do really guess our luck is turning around, because I might have stumbled into some sort of success without honestly trying. My associate wanted to try his hand at his own podcasting, and asked me to help him out a co-host. He really wanted our experience to help him craft a great show, so I happily agreed. The thing is, our associate owns an Heating plus A/C service business in town and gas furnace dealership, and that’s what he wanted the little podcast to be about. I do not think the first thing about air conditioning or heating by myself, all I think is how to turn on the thermostat, even though I have already agreed to help him. The format of the show is to discuss usual complications people often have with their Heating plus A/C systems, and then giving advice on how to easily fix it. He knew that current Heating plus A/C systems are incredibly complex, but he also realized that there were a few handy pointers that could help out almost all of the people. And what do you know, this little AC advice talk show found a dedicated audience almost immediately! The fact that I knew so little about Heating plus A/C really was not a problem at all, because it allowed me to ask more questions than anyone would ask. I never thought that our very first successful podcast would be about heating and cooling systems!
