Sealing the thermal energy

I recently had some troubles with unusually high energy bills, unpleasant odors in the house, plus chilly spots in several rooms.  Although the oil furnace seemed to be running non stop, it couldn’t keep up with demand. When I hired an HVAC contractor for repair, he took care of the method plus informed me that the problem was holes in the duct system.  These leaks were allowing the heated air to escape before it ever reached the supply vents. He recommended Aeroseal, which is a patented technology that targets leaks from the inside. The process involves pressurized air plus polymer adhesive particles which stick to the edges of the leak, gradually build up plus complete an effective seal.  The HVAC contractor started by plugging the registers in the condo with foam. This would then force any air to escape by way of the holes in the HVAC duct. He performed a pretest on the duct method to determine the extent of the problem, then began the sealing process. He restrained the a/c indoor coil, fan plus oil furnace to prevent the sealant particles from entering the inner finally workings.  Non-toxic, UL took care of plus approved particles plus air was injected into the duct system. The air is put under pressure, which keeps the particles moving plus sends them out through the various holes. The entire procedure was controlled by the iPad plus provided the ability to watch the results. After completion, the iPad provided an analysis plus proof of success. There was no odor, mess or destruction, plus the whole process was handled within a couple of hours.
