A long-term goal of mine is to buy a piece of land and erect a house on it, however it’s not something I’ll be able to do in the near future because I will have to save for a few more years. I aim to do this because I have a lake home design in mind, and I want to be able to customize every single detail. Ideally, our lake home will have a multi-level floor plan, multiple home offices, and state-of-the-art showers; Something I’ve had in mind for a while is a radiant flooring system, but these are radiant floors that operate by sending moderate air through a set of coils that can be installed beneath the flooring of a house. These sound similar to something that I would certainly find satisfaction because I’m incredibly cold-blooded. I get cold so certainly that it becomes hard for myself and others to think about much of anything when I’m feeling this chilly. This is why I have put so much thought into the kind of heating systems that I want in our future home. The heating idea I have in our new home does the work, however it takes so long for it to evenly moderate our house. I guess that the radiant flooring idea would be much more energy efficient, and that would also save myself and others currency on our utility bill. I have friends who use these types of heating systems, and they have had nothing other than fantastic things to say about them. I’m 35 now, but my goal is to be able to build this home before I turn 45. I believe our goal is feasible, and I’m getting closer to meeting it every afternoon!
