Living in a small apartment can be challenging at times. My partner plus I travel the United States helping with building projects all over the country. We’ve helped hundreds of individuals build their dream homes as well as churches build current facilities. One of the things that many people may not realize is the challenge of living in a sixth wheel year round. Because the people I was with and I travel all over the States, the people I was with and I are consistently having to deal with current troubles that arise. Thankfully, the a/c in our camper works really well, plus don’t usually have any troubles with keeping the camper cool enough during warmer times of the year. The real challenge for us comes with the colder weather conditions. In order to keep the camper warm enough during the Winter months, the people I was with and I have to have electric gas furnaces running 24/7 as well as the furnace that is in the camper. If the people I was with and I travel through really cold areas, the people I was with and I usually have to insulate the camper even more than usual. The coldest section of the camper is consistently the family room. There is a doorway that separates the family room from the living plus home office area, plus the people I was with and I usually have to keep it closed so that the people I was with and I can keep the living section plus home office warm enough. Both of us found out that a lot of the heat escapes from the window plus door in the family room, even after the people I was with and I insulated them. With that said, I don’t do a lot of cooking during the wintertime because it’s just too cold in the family room for myself and others to be able to task in it. Although living in a small cold section is tough, for us, it’s worth it to be able to help those in need.
