This management team is very nice

When my wife and I purchased our first home, we were beyond excited. It was a beautiful single story 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a good sized backyard. It needed a few cosmetic projects tackled, but that was nothing I couldn’t tackle on my own. When we got the home inspected, there was nothing wrong with the HVAC system. Apparently, according to the previous owners, they had just replaced the AC unit two years prior. However, when we moved all our furniture in after painting,  (I remember it was the first day after everything was all moved in!) the AC shut off completely. The thermostat wouldn’t even turn on. Imagine my dismay! So the first thing I did was call our home warranty company to see what they could do. They ended up being very helpful and sending out a technician to diagnose and repair it. But it would take 24 hours to get a technician out to our home. So we couldn’t stay in our new home where all of our belongings where. We ended up having to sleep in our car for that night. Talk about trying times! The next day, the technician came out around twelve noon, hottest time of the day. It was roughly 89 degrees outside. Needless to say, we were in dire need of working, cold air conditioning. The repairman said that we need to switch out our whole system, but thankfully it would be covered under our home warranty. So it ultimately took a week and a half to get the new HVAC system installed and to have working AC in our new home. So we had to rent a hotel room for that time being, also reimbursed through the home warranty company. Then, finally we were able to move into our new home!
