Changing areas and losing the HVAC

Due to work requirements, my wife and kids and I had to relocate down south last Wintertime.  The people I was with and I were all thrilled with the idea of leaving the snow behind, but, now that the people I was with and I have been living in this awful heat, I can only wish I was back up there… I have decided that I simply hate living with air conditioner.  I guess like I am trapped inside a climate controlled space without any relief because it is so tepid and humid that I can’t stand to be outside. Where the people I was with and I lived before the people I was with and I never purchased an air conditioner. The people I was with and I did, of course, turn on the oil furnace during December and January, but our summer seasons were great with the windows open for us to breathe in fresh air.  Living here, I guess like I am a prisoner in climate controlled spaces from April through December, however sure, the people I was with and I get the occasional split but the people I was with and I only experience a cool break here or there. As is of course par for the course, I am usually at work on those nights so I can’t open the windows. The people I was with and I buy and use a ton of air filters because I am consistently paranoid about bacteria floating through the house.  I reminisce about the nights when I could throw open the windows to enjoy a breeze. Maybe, a single day, the people I was with and I can move back to what we now know was a northern paradise. I promise to never complain about shoveling snow or needing a winter wardrobe again if the people I was with and I do. I also guess that I will never never want to live with an air conditioner again. The cooling affects don’t make up for open windows and cool breezes.
