Keeping our heads held high

I love reading and every cold season I do a book quest. I either go through all my hardcover and paperback books or my kindle books. I spend fall and winter just reading and reading. I love reading when it is cold. What am I going to do outside anyway? I grab the next book on my quest and curl up in front of my fireplace. I don’t feel guilty about reading when it is horrible outside. Also, I don’t feel bad about running my heater all the time when I get so much use out of it. I am constantly curling up by the fireplace and enjoying the heating during the cold season. I usually get a TV series going in the winter too. I read for a bit and then I switch over to one of my shows. I pick a new series and just watch until I run out. Again, the heating system makes this experience a more pleasurable one. Once the weather takes a turn and I don’t use the heater anymore, I am not so good about being inside. I always have to time my book quest just perfectly. I want to read the entire time I have my heating equipment on. The day the heater turns off, I want to be done reading. I want to move onto working outside and being more physical. One year I was a bit late and was reading indoors when it was warm. I refused to run the air conditioner for my quest and outside was too warm. I am never going to let that happen again.
