I have been a third grade teacher for the past 2 years now and I entirely prefer my work. Not only is it a fun and exciting work teaching little youngsters each day, but it makes myself and others recognize fulfilled. Over the Summer the college was totally rebuilt, now my feelings are starting to change each day that passes. It’s nothing that drastic per say, even though I am having a problem with the heating and cooling system in the classroom. For some reason that I don’t understand, the suppliers who built this new college installed the heating and cooling component right next to the front door where all the youngsters come in and out of. I can’t count how many times I have had to call the colleges Heating and A/C repair specialist to come and fish out crayons and pieces of paper shoved down the heating and cooling unit. The little ones are also quite sneaky, so when I am busy helping a student one will go over and turn the cooling all the way up. After numerous minutes or so when it begins to recognize chilly, and it is getting old fast. I miss the old heating and cooling component that was half the size of this “new” one and I was able to control the temperature settings on my iPhone, then you would guess that the college being rebuilt would mean that only the newest and most state of the art appliances, but nope. I might have to start thinking about teaching older outdated youngsters, ones that are a little less obsessed with messing with the heating and cooling unit.
