Changing the air filter

Working in a shop when you are a non-smoker can be awfully difficult at times. In most places smoking is not permitted in the workplace, which makes a heck of a lot of good sense to me… But I know a shop is odd from most jobs, and if the people I was with and I banned smoking at our shop then business would absolutely go down. It fell to myself and others to find a ecstatic middle ground, a way to improve our personal experience at the shop without impacting anyone else’s good time, but no one enjoys a mopey shop keeper, do they, and since I am a male I can’t skate by on our looks alone. A few weeks back I took the step to purchase a small, portable air filter and place it behind the shop when I worked. It had the appearance of a tower-shaped oscillating fan, and was alleged to be one of the greatest air filters on the market. It easily had a strong impact on our work environment, with the cleaned up air quality I found I had more energy and a better attitude behind the shop. The air filter was so silent that no one even knew it was back there with me, they just thought I had a quick attitude adjustment… Once our boss saw the ac filter and asked myself and others about it, I started to talk about the difference it made behind the shop. The boss heard me.
