My husband truly tries his best to install new things for the home and do little repairs and renovations. He does a good job, not the best, and has made some mistakes here and there but he gets the job done…eventually. I think it takes him a while to get the concept down and to figure certain things out because it literally took him almost a day to try to change an air filter. At first he couldn’t figure out where heating and cooling air filter was located. He had to call his brother who is a local heating and cooling technician on where it was located and what kind of filter he needed. Little did he know that the size of the air filter is the one that’s already currently in the heating and cooling system. I remember him getting off the phone with his brother and he was so embarrassed. I kind of felt bad for him because he tries to live up to his brothers expertise on repairs and renovations. However last week my husband went to the store and he found a smart wi-fi thermostat on sale. I’ve always wanted one of those and he surprised me with it and he installed it. I was really impressed by this and I didn’t ask him if he asked his brother for help, I really wanted to show him how excited I was. He went through the new thermostat with me and showed me all the additional features. He showed the different notifications on how it’ll notify us when we may need to have our heating and cooling system maintenance and cleaned. He also showed me the app that would allow us to control the temperature in our home from anywhere as long as we had service on our phone. I was really excited and impressed that my husband bought and installed the smart wi-fi thermostat!
