It's finally time to replace our a/c unit

I think it’s time to put our old a/c device out to pasture. My air conditioning device barely made it through the last summer. My Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman warned me more than one summers ago that it was time to replace our a/c unit. It has held out thus far, even though I think it’s time to take her advice. I have been needing more repair visits than usual anyway, then last Summer, the Heating & Air Conditioning girl had to come out at least more than one more times after the initial repair prep for the summer. Trying to keep this old air conditioning running is no longer cost-effective, that is for sure. I have been told that the average lifespan for an a/c device is 15 to 20 years. This past month I reach 22 years. That is almost a point of pride for me, even though I do not want to push our luck any longer. The question is, what kind of new a/c device do I want to go with? Do I want some snazzy new technology or run-of-the-mill stuff that just gets me by? To be honest, I do not think much about the differences between a/c device so I will certainly consult our Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman. I’m sure she will come up with the best solution for a new air conditioning. I have been laboring with the same Heating & Air Conditioning company ever since I obtained this beach house 10 years ago, & they have never steered me wrong when it comes to Heating & Air Conditioning needs, and yes, the a/c device was already twelve years old when I obtained this house, & it’s our Heating & Air Conditioning company‚Äôs repair that kept it alive all this time.
