You can never judge a book by it’s cover, as I recently had proven to me.
Let me start by saying that my next door neighbor is a sweet little old lady named Linda.
She has always been very kind to me, my wife, and my kids, and in return I like to cut her lawn for her, and dig out her driveway come the depths of winter. While I was out one day I got clipped by a truck and the parent trucking company threatened me with a lawsuit the very next day. I had no idea what to do, but I mentioned it to Linda who said she owned a personal injury law firm. She herself was not a personal injury attorney but her deceased husband had built the practice from the ground up. After 40 years he passed on and left his wife her part of the personal injury law firm, which she tried to keep it running in the way she thought he would have liked. By the end of the day I had a lawyer in my living room taking my statement, and this lady was a car and commercial truck accident lawyer, that was all she did! It turns out that she was pretty well known in her speciality, because most of the other truck accident lawyers did not want to face her in the courtroom. I was so worried about what me and my family were going to do, but thanks to my kindly neighbor and her not-so-kindly personal injury law firm we will be okay.
